how is it work ?
You'll get certain amount of bandwidth for every post you make here. As you can see on User Details, Your Bandwidth is 1.24GB right now. Means you can download files upto 1.24GB from flash-files.com without any restrictions, wait time, ads etc (Premium Download)...Not the free tier captcha one.

How do we calculate Bandwidth?
Right now MD Bandwidth is dependent on two factors. Video File Size & Section of the Video. Let me break this down.
We have 4 section in MD.
1. R-Rated
2. X-Rated
3. XXX-Rated
4. HD Section
Every section has it's own rate. Here is the detailed bandwidth calculation for a single video file.
For R-Rated - Video File Size * 0.6
For X-Rated - Video File Size * 0.4
For XXX-Rated - Video File Size * 0.3
For HD Section - Video File Size * 0.7
NOTE: The rate for bandwidth is not fixed or static. This is just for the start. We'll monitor the resources it is going to take from flash-files.com. We right now have very limited resources. Though we are determined to find various ways to keep our uploaders encouraged. The rate can be increased or decreased to keep the balance between Bandwidth Downloads and Our Premium users.
RULES THAT MUST BE FOLLOWED WITH THIS CHANGE:
Selection of Prefix has to be right. Selecting HD section or R Rated sections to increase Bandwidth will be punished.
Always use Search Feature, before posting to avoid duplicate posting. Duplicate posts are not allowed here. Duplicate thread will be either Deleted or Merged with existing one. Repeated offenders will be permanently banned.
Try to follow all the rules and guidelines while posting, as we have controlled over both MD and FF. Any spam, fruads, continuous rules violating user and user's ip range will be banned from both MD and FF. Your all collected Bandwidth will be for no use.
What we mean by above is try not to spam, not to cheat. With the growth of the forum, i personally promise to introduce such benifits to our beloved users and uploaders. If you stay within rules of the forum, this change will mean you can upload and download without any limitations. Try to treat and run it like your own forum. We need all of yours support to grow this community and bring back MD days.

How to use bandwidth for downloading file as a premium.
Every time I try to download it runs a timer of 30 seconds as usual.
It is not fully implemented at flash-files.com, will take a day or two more. when it is implemented fully, the download link will directly takes you to premium download page, where you can decide to use bandwidth and download as premium or try free download for that particular file to save bandwidth.

Hello, i am having a problem with my threads. Many of my posts i posted yesterday and today are showing 0MB in the threads page despite having working flashfiles links in the posts. I tried updating the links by editing but still issue persists. Only when i delete the thread and posts again, the issue gets resolved. Due to this problem , my bandwidth is also displayed lower than it actually is. Any help is appreciated.

Let me check. are you using "Post Video" or "Upload" button to post?
I suggest you go with "Upload" button. I have just checked there seems to be no issue. Do you remember what link you put in on "Post Video"? You must enter XXXXXX! you cant enter something like flash-files.com or flash-files.com/something.php?idd
and later edit link on Post Thread Page. If that happens, your post will have every detail but in thread display page you will have 0 bytes size shown another possible reason could be browser issue or page couldnt be redirect properly either bcoz of cancelation or network error.

OHH, that might be the issue then. thanks for clearing it, but is there any means to correct it? or do i need to delete the threads and post again?
Unfortunately No. You can not rectify that entry. Just enter a correct url in "Post Video" input field, you wont have such problem else there is always a Upload button, you could choose to use.

At this moment, if your thread does not display filesize in thread display page like you had few, as you have noticed you do not get bandwidth for that post because it is all dependent on the filesize.
But I'll correct the script tomorrow morning, so even when your thread shows 0 bytes on thread dispaly page, you get bandwidth for that and dont have to post again.
