@mallufan It is not possible to do that. that will definitely help flash-files in terms of storage and bandwidth consumption. but it will have a complete negative impact on MD. people will upload file, post on MD and after sometime of taking advantage, they'll simply delete the file from flash-files. and we are going to have file not found on threads.
So i'm not in any favor to make this forum full of file not found errors spams. we started this so the issue "file not found" because of other file host deleting files will sort out and people can download files even after years. if we enable file delete fully, this forum will fail and people will just use MD as a bump and dump.

The issue has been sorted out.
File Rename should work fine now for the files uploaded in last 2-3 months.
for remaining might need to wait!
