Try changing filename, atleast extension. from .avi to .mp4 or .mkv and see if problem solves
I changed extension to mp4 (converted it actually)....it worked. Only problem was bitrate decreased from something like 6661 kbps to 3371 kbps, though resolution remains the same......anyway it worked. I have posted it as a new thread with new screenshots
But i would really like to know...what went wrong with the first one (so as not to waste my effort with another file in the future)

I have renamed the file and it worked for this as well.
The issue was with the filename. Either our antivirus caught up with your file or it has some suspicious symbols combination that triggered the safe mode on our database for this particular file. I will look into the matter and fix it asap. I suggest you not to delete those uploaded not working file for us to test on.
We have to upgrade our FF server as requirements are getting high on it so please be patient for today. I'll notify you once the upgrade process is completed today.

The upgrade has already been finished. We are waiting for DNS propagation to finish. We can't do much about that than waiting for it to point correctly to new server. It might take an hour or so more.

It is not possible to move to another file host. As most of the file host has file deletation policy and we do not want any of our file to be deleted ever plus other file host will not provide the required data and information to implement properly on MasalaDesi. The main feature/moto of this forum will fade away if we adapt any other file host.

It is because DNS Propagation is still maybe swinging back to old server sometime. The one you see that says Upgrad in process is old server. We have already moved to new one.
Has the upgrade done?
